Airport
[edit]I notice that the song Airport was covered by a "Wood Allen" (Woody Allen?) in 1989 (http://www.chartstats.com/release.php?release=17207). Should we just put this in the cover versions section?--94.0.97.43 (talk) 13:48, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- In a word - no. It is not the same song. Wood Allen was an alias for Davoli, Limoni and Simplici... better known as Black Box, Starlight, The Mixmaster, and Groove Groove Melody. Listen here for the dissimilarities - [1] & [2].

Discography
[edit]Can I propose adding 'Sweden' to the singles and albums tables, listed in the discography section, based on what seems like an authoritative reference: http://swedishcharts.com/showinterpret.asp?interpret=The+Motors
The singles 'Airport' peaked at No.4 on 20/10/78 (http://swedishcharts.com/weekchart.asp?cat=s&year=1978&date=19781020) and 'Forget About You' peaked at No.17 on 22/9/78 (http://swedishcharts.com/weekchart.asp?cat=s&year=1978&date=19780922)
The album 'Approved By The Motors' peaked at No.40 on 26/1/79 (http://swedishcharts.com/weekchart.asp?cat=a&year=1979&date=19790126) and 'Tenement Steps' peaked at No.33 on 4/4/80 (http://swedishcharts.com/weekchart.asp?cat=a&year=1980&date=19800404) Genspeak (talk) 01:02, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

Date of dissolution
[edit]The are differences in the date given for the band's demise. The infobox states 1981, in the 'History' section of the text the year is given as 1982, whilst the 'Personnel' section gives 1980 as the final date for the four remaining band members. AllMusic states 1980, which seems the most likely alternative. It is hardly the most important piece of information about the group, but the conflicting years quoted look quite silly. Given that there is no referenced source attached to any of the other dates, does anyone have any reliable conflicting evidence to debunk 1980 ? Thanks,

- In the absence of any reply I have amended the disestablishment date to read 1980 throughout. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 17:00, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
